Church announcements for Sunday, March 24, 2013
1. Yesterday’s Retreat and Confession was a great success and all three sessions were well attended. We would like to thank :
- Fr. Boby Varghese and Br. Shinto David for all of their support.
- St Mary’s Youth Coordinators: Becky Philip, Solomen Daniel, Jerry Jose, Leena Paul
- Most importantly our youth who helped in baby sitting with children.
2. Holy Week:
- Please follow the calendar for evening prayers.
- Maundy Thursday Holy Qurbana is on Wednesday at 6:30 pm (NOTE: PLEASE BRING APPAM)
- We will be continuing the Confessions today after 2:00 pm
- Good Friday Vigil List will be posted
- Donations & Volunteering
- There are many things, as you know, that the Church will need during the holy week, and we ask for your participation and support.
- Requesting members to stay back to change the Marra (Curtain)
- There is a list posted next to the Notice board for donations.
- Requesting Martha Mariam Samajam members to stay back for the traditional pickle making.
- Also, we need volunteers for Good Friday Food donations. Please contact Elizabeth Saji and/or Lipsy Mathew or Mr. Jeemon Varghese.
3. Sunday School Competition topics are posted on the Notice Board.
4. Next week’s bible reading will be done by Sarah Pothen.
5. We would like to thank Mr. KochuGeevarghese Geevarghese for returning his Promissory Note as a donation.
