Church announcements for Sunday July 28th, 2013.
1. 15 day lent will be observed from August 1-15.
2. We will be celebrating our Perunnal on Aug 17th & 18th. The chief celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Joykutty Varghese . Everyone should bring a minimum of $50 worth of item for the Auction.
3. During Perunnal we also recognize this year’s graduates. Please give names of graduates to the office as early as possible so that we don’t miss anyone.
4. A combined OVBS will be conducted on Aug 3rd, 4th & 5th 2013. We request all children to participate in the OVBS. For more info please contact our Principal Mr. Mathai Chacko or the co-ordinators, Mrs. Tinky Abraham & Elizabeth Kurian. We need more volunteers and donations for the OVBS.
5. We had our Family Trip to Bahamas. Congratulations to the coordinators, Mr. Varghese Cherian & Mr. Saji K. Pothen for a well organized and a fun-filled trip.
6. Martha Mariam Samajam’s area Retreat/Bible study/Charity(school bag filling) will be held on Aug 10th 4pm-8pm at St. John’s Orthodox Church Orangeburg.
7. MGOCSM’s 4 day leadership camp was held last week. Michele Pothen represented from our church. Michele would like to share the highlights.
8. As announced earlier we have booked tickets for Radio City Christmas show. We are in process of finalizing transportation. The seats on the buses are limited. Please let us know if you would like to take the bus. Please contact Saju George or Principal if you have any questions.
9. Today is the 40th day memorial of our Mrs. Rachel Thengampallil. Today’s lunch is hosted by her family.
