Church announcements for Sunday, September 22nd, 2013

1. SUNDAY SCHOOL
   • English and Malayalam Elocution and Bible Story Competition will be held today after Sunday School classes. Please meet Mrs. Suja Pothen near the Notice Board to sign up and pick up your “Chest Numbers”.
   •  The top two winners should participate in Area level Competitions going to be held next Saturday, September 28 at St Mary’s Church, 360 Bedford Park Blvd, Bronx.
     • All competitions for Groups 1-4 from 9.00 AM
     • Groups 5-7 will start at 12:30 PM
     • Followed by Group Song and Bible Quiz.
     • There is Public parking on the corner of Webster Avenue and Bedford Park Blvd. In addition, there is more parking in the nearby Catholic Church  Parking lot.
• The information is posted on the Notice Board. For more info please contact Mr. Mathai Chacko or Mrs. Suja Pothen.
• There will be a Parents- teachers meeting Next Sunday.
2. The Treasurer is requesting all the members to pay their dues at the earliest.
3. There will be an MGOCSM meeting after refreshments.
4. Ryan’s Memorial Dhoopa prathana will be held after the service.
5. For your convenience there will be an opportunity to register in-person for the St. Mary’s 5K run/walk that will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2013.
   • Binu and Solamen will briefly explain about the 5K Registration process.
6. Reminders:
   • Monthly prayer meeting will be held at the residence of Mr. John VARGHESE on Sept. 28th, Saturday 2013 @ 6 pm.
   • There will be Onam Lunch on Sunday, Oct 6th at our church. Please sign up on the list posted on the notice board for items required for the event. For more info please contact Mr. JEEMON VARGHESE or Martha Mariam Samajam.
