Church announcements for July 14th, 2013
1. Family & Youth conference was held at Honor’s Haven Resort, Ellenville, NY from July 10- 13. We had 24 participants from our church. It was very successful
conference.
Our church presented black light show coordinated by Mrs. Manju John. Our church members contribution in different committees were noticeable.
Manju John is going to share her experience about her first diocesian family conference.
2. Church general body was held last week. Annual report and audited accounts for the year 2012 was passed unanimously. Half yearly accounts for the year 2013
was also presented.
3. There will be brief meeting of managing committee members to discuss regarding Perunnal.
4. Sunday School:
A. Drawing and essay competitions will be held today. For further information please contact coordinator Mrs. Suja Pothen or the principal.
B. Combined OVBS will be held in our church on August 2, 3 and 4th from 9am – 3:30 pm. Please register by July 20. The forms are on our website. For additional information, please contact the coordinators: Elizabeth Kurian or Tinky Abraham.
C. Radio city Christmas spectacular show is booked for Friday Nov, 8th at 5pm. We have so far 92 confirmed participants. There are 10-15 seats still available. Please contact Mr. Saju George today if you are interested. Members who has given their names, please give the cheque today.
5. There will be a brief meeting today for the members going to family trip.
6. Next week’s Bible reading will be done by Feby George.
7. Guest: We welcome Mrs. Leelamma Varghese. She is Mr. Jacob Kurian’s (Appu uncle) aunty.
