Church Announcements for Sunday July 7th, 2013
- Church General Body will be held today.
- Sunday School :
- There will be no regular classes in July and August. General Sessions, Malayalam School and planned competitions and practices will be held.
- Malayalam School will be restarted during the Summer. We are requesting Parents to encourage their children to attend
- General Sessions will include Bible Verse recitals and classes about Qurbana.
- Drawing and Essay Competitions will be held on July 14, 2013. Students who want to participate MUST give their names to Mrs. Suja Pothen today. The topics are posted on the Notice Board.
- Reminder: Combined OVBS 2013 will be held in our church on August 2, 3 and 4th from 9 am – 3:30 pm. IF you have not already registered please register by July 20. The forms are on our website. For additional information please contact the coordinators: Elizabeth Kurian or Tinky Abraham.
- Reminder: Martha Mariam Samajam (MMS) – There will be a Luncheon workshop on “Parenting in the 21st Century” today. It will be led by Achen and Ponnu Varghese.
- The Family Trip coordinators are requesting all members who are travelling to do the Online Check-in. Also, if you are still interested there are few cabins that we can arrange for.
- Family Conference will start on July 10 – 13 in Honors Heaven Resort and Spa in Ellenville, NY.
- Several members had expressed interest in going for the Radio City Christmas Spectacular Show that starts on Friday Nov 8. The prices for the tickets go up considerably by Thanksgiving. We are planning to visit either on Nov 8, 15 or 22 for the 5 pm or 8 pm show. The prices are in the range of $49-$65 per person. If you are interested please contact Saju George at the earliest so that we can get a clear head count to book tickets
- HG Dr. Zachariah Mar Theophilus Metropolitan of Malabar Diocese has reached safely in India and thank you for everyone’s prayers.
- Next week’s Bible reading will be done by Rhea Mathews.
