Church announcements for Sunday June 16th, 2013

1. HAPPY FATHERS’S DAY to all dads’.
2. Sleeha Noyambu (Lent for Apostles), a 13 days lent will be observed from June 16 to 29. It is held in remembrance of the first leaders of the Church after the ascension of Jesus Christ.
3. This month’s Prayer Meeting will be held at Mrs. Annakunju Varghese’s Residence on Saturday, June 22, 2013.  As there is limited parking at the Condo, please park you cars in the church and you can either car pool or walk to the Condo.
4. MGOCSM:
   1.  Today on the occasion on of Father’s day there will be a presentation by the MGOCSM board members followed by gifts.
   2. Members from MGOCSM and SMYLE will be serving the food today.
   3. There will be a MGOCSM Meeting after refreshments
   4. On Sunday, June 23 there will be a Bake sale.
5. The St. Mary’s Youth League (SMYLE) will be conducting their Picnic on Saturday, June 29, 2013 from 10 am- 2:00 pm at Hillcrest Park in Congers. For more information please contact Leena Paul, Solamen Samuel, Becky Philip or Jerry Jose.
6. Mrs. Rachel Mathai, Wife of Mr. Mathai Thengumpalil is in critical condition and admitted in NY Presbyterian hospital.  Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
7. Our Martha Mariam Samajam members attended the annual Parents and Couples Conference conducted at St. Thomas Church, Philadelphia yesterday. The speeches by Rev. Frs. Sujith Thomas, George Cherian ,V.M Shibu were very well received by the attendees.
8. JCCR’s Unity Sunday celebrations will be held on Sunday, June 23 at 4pm at All Saint’s CSI, Church Valley Cottage.  We are requesting all members to attend the Celebrations. The Ecumenical choir practice will be held today at 2pm at the All Saint’s CSI church, Valley Cottage.
