We deeply regret the demise of our senior member Mr. Kidangil Pappen, beloved husband of Aleyamma Pappen, father of Beena of Queens, Elizabeth and Binu of Nanuet on September 6th, 2003. Our prayers and condolences to the bereaving family.
Kidangil Pappen of Nanuet passed away September 6, 2003 at Montefiore Hospital. He was 63. Kidangil was born in India to Mathai Kidangil and Rachal Mathai. He has been a Rockland resident since 1989 prior Brooklyn, NY. Kidangil worked for the MTA as supervisor before retiring in 2001.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and building things with his hands.
Kidangil was very active in the St. Mary’s Orthodox Church in Suffern and held many official positions. He was known for his charitable work in India.
Kidangil will be remembered as a very loving, caring, helpful and kind hearted man. Kidangil is survived by his loving wife, Aleyamma of Nanuet; three daughters, Beena of Queens, Elizabeth and Binu of Nanuet; two brothers, Johnny and Joy of India; three sisters, Chinamma, Mary and Ammini of India.
Family will receive friends Monday 6:30 to 9 PM and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY.
