Our Parish was blessed by the visit of The Catholicose Designate His Beatitude Paulose Mar Milithios Metropolitan on June 20th. Thirumeni celebrated divine Holy Qurbana for the faithfuls. There were many faithfuls present from sister parishes to receive blessing from the Thirumeni.
Church hosted a public meeting in Thrumeni’s honor. Mr. Degan LaCorte, Honorable Mayor of Village of Suffern was distinguished guest present at the meeting. Mayor expressed his warm felicitations and presented Thirumeni with proclamation on behalf of the village council.
The meeting concluded with closing prayers and benediction by Thirumeni. Parish hosted lunch for the Thirumeni and all participants after the meeting.
The visit by Catholicate designate will be one of the most important events in our parish history. The smile and divine presence of the Thirumeni will be remembered by all for long time.
