Church announcements for Sunday, April 14th, 2013
1. As you might already know, His Grace Mar GeeVarghese Ivanios of Kottayam Diocese has entered eternal rest.
It is with a special affection and respect that we remember His Grace as he was of great help to our own Metropolitan HG Mar Barnabas during HG’s last days. Also His Grace was here for the consecration of our Church and at one other occasion.
I hope we will be able to come together to pray and celebrates this saintly life.
There will be a condolence meeting in honor of His Grace on Sunday, April 14, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. The venue will be St. Gregorios Orthodox Church, 175 Cherry Lane, Floral Park, NY. 11040.
2. Sunday School Church Level Bible quiz will be conducted on May 26, 2013. The Quiz topics are posted on the Notice Board.
3. MGOCSM will be conducting a Bake Sale Today. All are requested to support the sale.
4. Next week’s bible reading will be done by Rachel Zachariah.
