The Church announcements for the Week of Jan 27th, 2013

1. On Wednesday, January 23, 2013 Holy Qurbana for the 3-day Nineveh Lent was held and many members attended.
2. In last week’s Managing Committee the following      members were elected:
   1. Joint Secretary         Saji M. Pothen
   2. Joint Treasurer         Jeemon Varghese
3. Today there will be a General Body meeting after refreshments. The Agenda will be to propose the budget and elect event coordinators for year 2013.
4. MGOCS
   1. Elected the following Office Bearers for the year  2013
      1. Benson Cherian, Secretary
      2. Nevin Pothen, Treasurer
      3. Genuine Thomas, Joint Secretary
      4. Jessica John, Joint Treasurer
   2. They are selling Calendars to help fund the       Missions trip this year. Each Calendar is $10 and we recommend everyone       to purchase one, especially the alter boys.
   3. Next meeting will be on Sunday, February 3, 2013
5. Please contact Mr. George Thamaravelil as soon as  possible to schedule the monthly prayer meeting for 2013.
6. The Sunday School Annual Day will be celebrated on  Sunday, February 3, 2013.
7. Sunday School Midterm Exam will be on Sunday,  February 24, 2013.
8. FOCUS is hosting a Pre-Marital Enrichment event on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at St. Gregorious Church, Elmont.  Fr. Paul Cherian is the Speaker. This event is for young adults who are recently married, engaged to be married or single contemplating marriage. For those who are interested there are fliers available in the Church Office.
